Thalune is a small, intentional Golden Retriever program located on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. Our work is guided by a deep respect for the Golden Retriever and a commitment to honoring the history, health, and future of this remarkable breed.

At the heart of our program is thoughtful development and early socialization. Puppies are raised with careful exposure, daily interaction, and gentle guidance so they grow into confident, well-balanced companions.

In addition to our breeding program, Thalune provides attentive in-home boarding and dog care for families across Hawai‘i Island. Dogs in our care live as part of the household and enjoy daily exercise, enrichment, and a fun environment where they receive love, respect, and individual attention.

Whether a dog is here for boarding, daycare, training, or socialization, our focus remains the same. We aim to create a safe and enriching environment where dogs feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for.
